Multiple types of sports are offered in PE class at UWC ISAK Japan.

It is my favorite class at school since in Vietnam, PE is usually undermined and we rarely ever go out to learn PE at all. However, in this school PE is just as equally important as other subjects and I'm challenged to stretch beyond my physical limits.
Karate is a martial art developed in the Ryukyu Kingdom. It developed from the indigenous Ryukyuan martial arts under the influence of Chinese martial arts, particularly Fujian White Crane. (Wikipedia) We were offered a four-month karate course from Tokyo's Karate masters which covers the basic Kihon gata and Pinan Nidan. We have been starting volleyball as part of PE class since the beginning of Grade 11. This is an opportunity for the students to bond with each other through sports and get great exercise.
